Considerations on thought crime, Gestapo tactics and the possibility of another civil war

Yesterday a PhD student from Tufts University in Mass. was kidnapped by ICE from her campus. This happened in broad daylight by plainclothes agents who covered their faces. She was taken without any charges, a warrant or due process.

They simply snatched her.

Despite a judges order to not have Rumeysa Ozturk removed from the state, she was sent to a detention facility in LA.

Her crime? She co-wrote an op-ed in her university’s student newspaper last year that was critical of the school’s position on Palestine. She is/was studying at Tufts on a student visa.

And I need to pause here to implore you to really think about this. We all need to really consider what we’re talking about here.

This is where we’re at now, folks. If things like this don’t chill you to the bone, I don’t know what else to tell you. This administration is kidnapping people for thought crimes and there are more reports every day.

Understand that these kids are not so-called “illegal immigrants” nor are they criminals. They are graduate students at top universities, here studying completely legally.

Scumbag extraordinaire and fascist secretary of State, Marco Rubio, who’s own parents fled Cuba for the US in the 1960s, defended the kidnapping by saying:

“We gave you a visa to come and study and get a degree, not to become a social activist that tears up our university campus. We’ve given you a visa and you decide to do that we’re going to take it away.”

People always joke about 1984 but this is the real thing; this is the kind of stuff jagoff conservatives make fun of 3rd world nations for. Aren’t these assholes always championing freedom??

Newsflash for anyone dumb enough to have believed any of them: these people are white nationalists. That’s who voted for Trump, that’s who his base is and that’s what his polices are based on: white nationalism.

Again, let this all sink in for a moment; this administration is disappearing students for thought crimes. Rumeysa Ozturk wrote WORDS Trump doesn’t like so he had her removed. Sound familiar?

Their immigration status is irrelevant! This is akin to what this country used to accuse East Germany and Russia of decades ago and yet, here we are.

I used to laugh at people who would float the idea of another civil war but it doesn’t seem funny any more. Nothing does.

At this stage it seems inevitable…almost.

I say almost because the logistics of something like that in this era are overwhelming and a scenario like that would require everyday white Amerikkkans to abandon their comfort zones and risk everything.

Based on what we’ve seen thus far, I just don’t see that happening…unless these things we’re seeing start affecting them directly.

But, again, I don’t see that happening. It’s the age old dilemma of ‘not my problem’ until it is.

I don’t see this administration targeting or disappearing white kids for thought crimes…yet.

Most people who are protected by the system, while possibly vocal about it, are but spectators on the sidelines, keeping their fingers crossed that it doesn’t happen to them.

And really, we’re at the point where there is no rule of law. There is no due process. As I said previously¹, the constitution is null and void. We are in a free fall and no one is doing shit about it.

That should scare the shit out of anyone not actively drinking the Kool-Aid.

But let me just say that one of the things that really bothers me about everything going on is the half-measures from their side. Because, if we’re gonna do this can we just take the gloves off already and get down? The bullshit excuses are old.

Since we’ve already established that our rights are null and void and that this establishment is hellbent on operating as a 100-percent fascist ,white nationalist machine, can we stop pretending that everything is OK and that it’s all going to go away eventually?

Can we stop fawning over Super Bowl performances etc. as if those mean jack and or shit?

I think as many republicans and conservatives as possible should be polled and asked if this is what they really support. I would like to know exactly who we’re dealing and have it all out in the open.

This administration has already demonstrated they have no issue doing Nazi salutes so I would like to see them go full retard and just own it already. It’s painfully obvious that it wasn’t about the economy or Russia or anything else except instituting a system of white evangelical nationalism.

That’s where we’re at.

If enough of these assholes come out of the closet as Nazis instead of blowing smoke up everyone’s ass, then maybe that will push the normies off of the sidelines to actually do something. But I doubt it.

I don’t know what else to say and maybe I shouldn’t say anything at all because we’re living in a world where people are being kidnapped by the secret police for WORDS and no one is doing anything about it.

They are ignoring the courts. So now what?

People are still trying to utilize the justice system to fight back but it’s obvious the system is completely broken. This administration is operating with Gestapo tactics and no one is physically challenging them…yet.

So…when?

I guess what I’m asking is when is the push come to shove moment for most people? When is enough enough? What’s going to kick it off?

Obviously, it wasn’t the price of eggs or gasoline. Nazi salutes didn’t do it and oddly enough, kidnapping people is proving to be non-motivational for most people who simply shake their heads, shrug it off or cheer it on.

What’s it going to take to get people to fight back?

This is not a battle those of us who are in the crosshairs can wage by ourselves. This would take the entirety of those have said for years: not on my watch.

Well, we’re waiting.
