Hello, loyal Brownlisters. 👋🏽 Here’s a poem I’ve worked on for a while. I’m not sure it’s finished but for now I think I’m done tinkering with it.
Originally, I experimented with using AI voiceover to read my poem but the result was pretty creepy and I scrapped the idea. For all its usefulness, robots can’t recite poetry very well.
For reasons I’ll keep to myself for now, I dislike the sound of my own voice so I hesitate to share it with anyone else online these days. This hinders some cool features here, like voiceover. Kudos to those of you who utilize it.
Once upon a time, I had a podcast series, where I’d read my stuff. Engagement was dismal so I stopped. I still have all the files. It’s crazy how long ago that was, But I digress.
I may or may not venture into spoken word territory once again but for now, instead, I used a ‘slowed’ version of Sleepwalk for the voice over as I think it fits the work quite well.
