Welcome back to another edition of Movies without Mexicans! Boy, I am on a roll with these and hopefully you are enjoying them! It’s almost like there’s some kind of pattern or reoccurring theme in Hollyweird that is exclusionary to those of the Brown persuasion…
This time around I’m taking a quick look at the film Aliens (1986), which is a blockbuster sci-fi/space/horror film written and directed by…James Cameron! This is weird because I just wrote about another movie without Mexicans which was also made by James Cameron…it’s almost like he has a problem with Raza. Hmmm.
We are not represented in futuristic L.A. nor are we represented (authentically) in space. So, where are we represented?! Were there any Mexicans in either of the two Terminator films?? I’ll have to go back and look because none are coming to mind…no, wait, I am forgetting the little Mexican boy at the gas station at the end of the first film. I have to wonder, is that kid even really Mexican?? Or did Cameron just spray Macaulay Culkin brown for the role?!
